Chennai super kings won the match against Kings 11 Punjab at Chennai (M.A.Chidambaram stadium) on 10th May 2008.Kings 11 Punjab won the toss and elected to field.Chennai lost first 2 wickets in 2.2 overs.Sreesanth took the first 2 wickets.Suresh Raina & Badrinath had a partnership for 44 runs,then Raina got out in Piyush Chawla's over.Badrinath & Dhoni had a partnership for 91 runs.Finally Chennai Super Kings scored 181 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 4 wickets.

Chennai team won the match against Delhi dare devils on thursday(May 8,2008).The match was a thriller,the Chennai Super kings batsmen Badrinath scored the winning runs on the last ball of the innings.The last over was bowled by Shoaib Malik,at that time Chennai required 15 runs to win from last 6 balls.MS Dhoni was awarded the Man of the match award.It was the first win for Chennai team in the last 4 matches.
